In 2005 I took my first photograph with a  medium format camera. The first things that atracted me were the impressive color saturation and the extreme high contrast. It began like that... so simple.

However, with every picture that I took, I realised that there are many more aspects of photography to consider, and the idea of being able to simultaneously exist in the moment and be able to capture that exact mood in a still photograph is something that constantly plays on my mind. Holding a camera is the most challenging part of my life - or even my character.

There is always room for assessing and improving the technical aspects of a photograph, however, today I believe that there are even more important factors. The moment that I release my shutter; this is "now", this is the defining moment of my life.

My camera lets me understand what "now" means.

I know I should use my picture to share these moments in time with all of you.
